I have Charter and my picture is very clear. No popping or anything annoying
here.

We had TiVo standalone with charter digital cable --- OK, but the analog
channels really sucked after going through the TiVo and a lot of snapping and
popping in all channels (mostly analog) - replaced the cable box - it got
better... but still DirecTV is so much better than Charter.
