I have a series 2 DVR with DirecTV. Yesterday, the unit became VERY sluggish in responding to clicks on the remote, and playback (even live TV) would pause momentarily every few seconds.
I deleted a WHOLE BUNCH of stuff from the hard drive, and responsiveness seems to have improved a bit, but playing back recorded shows still stutters frequently.
