I got a model 2 TiVo PVR, then opened up the Model 1. I haven't decided
what to do with the Model 1, it works, but I can't use it without an
additional account. I put the drive in another machine to view it in
Partition Magic which is supposed to be able to see Linux formatomg.
PM says that the drive is unallocated and only 8.8 Meg, the cover says
it is 30 G. PM does not provide the option to created a new partition.
They must have used a special partition type in order to thwart
hackers. Has anyone got any ideas what is going on here?
