Hello M.,
Yes; it is no longer available.
On March 8th, TiVo announced that they were eliminating the
"lifetime" service and going to "subscription only." You
commit to one year of service and they give you the box
for "free." (hah!)
I see numerous offers of TiVo boxes with "lifetime" service
available on eBay, so you could investigate that.
