Hi, if there is anyone out there that can help me this I would be
forever greatfull!
I used to be able to play DVDs on my laptop.. Then my computer was
slow so I re-installed Windows XP on my laptop. Ever since then I
have not been able to watch DVDs. I figued that I had somehow erased
the codec file, but since I didn't watch DVDs offten on my laptop I
didn't bother trying to figure it out. Then they came up with
TivoToGo and I downloaded some shows to my computer but it wouldn't
allow me to watch them.. Windows Media Player gave me an 'Error
downloading codec' thing, (Same as when I tried to play DVDs) So I
downloaded and purchesed Intervideo DVD xpack, (One of the codec
programs recomended by Tivo) I set it as 'prefered' decoder and
everything that they told me to do, but I am still haveing the same
problem.. I get Audio, but NO VIDEO!!! I wrote to the Intervideo tech
help, but they aren't being much help.. I'm still talking to them,
but they're slow and not very helpfull so far.
Any ideas?
