Once upon a time Mike Thomas shaped the electrons to say...

> I need one for each room, totaling six)?

Doesn't work like that - LNBs are shared between rooms, a 3LNB dish
can handle 2 dual-tuner units, actually it can handle many dual-tuner
units, with enough ports on a multiswitch.

I forget - I think each LNB handles a different satellite locations,
and for a long time they were installing 3LNB dishes, but with the HD
installs they seem to be installing 5LNB dishes now - could be because
of the new birds they're putting up.

It isn't like there is one LNB tied to a tuner, one LNB can pull in
multiple channels at a time, but it is something to do with either the
signal or the position, I'd have to look it up to remember.
