Okay - this is now happening to me ---- I've had tivo for the 4 years and have had minimal trouble. About two weeks ago - channel 4 - which is a local channel for me (Boston area) started getting fuzzy, sometimes it's just annoying and other times it is so bad you can't see or hear anything. Then it started doing it to channel 5 (another local channel). These are two channels that I record ALOT. I hadn't done anything - didn't more the tivo box, hadn't changed any cables and the tv in the kitchen (no tivo) picks up the stations just fine and the tv in the living room (with tivo) is also working fine. I did see in another file to change the RF from off to on - that didn't seem to make a difference.....Please do NOT tell me hard drive is going - I will cry - I love my Tivo ------ any help is welcome - but remember you are speaking to someone who has limited technical skills.
Oh and I don't use a cable box - cable goes directly into tivo out to the tv.....same set up I've had for years.... Thanks in advance --- eagerly awaiting suggestions.... >
