Simple answer: no. When it comes to the commercials, you need to keep the remote control unit handy, so that you can push the "fast forward" button, which I call the "not entertaining" button. Looks kinda like this: ->| Certainly the technology exists to skip the commericials (I have a VCR that does it) but the networks, the stations, and especially the advertisers aren't happy when that happens.
