Once upon a time robsmada shaped the electrons to say... > season pass is set to only record First Runs Only. Additionally, no > episodes are on the schedule for the next few weeks and maybe even for > the next few months (including reruns). What will Tivo do if I add a > new season pass and then when the previous program resumes there is a > time conflict with the new season pass?
As Ruth said, it is all decided by your Season Pass Manager priorities. 'Higher' (lower numbered) items in the list take priority when there is a conflict. If you have a single tuner unit, then the highest priority program 'wins' and is recorded. If you have a dual-tuner unit then, when there is a conflict with more than two programs, the top two programs record. When you add a new SP it normally goes on the end of the list. But if it detects a conflict in the next two weeks that would cause some shows of the new SP to not be recorded then it offers you the option to not record those (which puts the SP at the end of the list) or record ALL episodes (which puts the new SP at the *top* of the list, trumping everything else). To fine tune this you manually re-order items on the list. -MZ -- megazone-at-megazone.org http://www.MegaZone.org/ Gweep, Geek, Human, me. http://www.TiVoLovers.com/ http://www.Eyrie-Productions.com/ -><- Hail Eris "A little nonsense now and then, is relished by the wisest men" 508-852-2171
