Sigh... each time I think I got it, it fails. So I am another Uverse/TIVO series 2 person. I have my channel lineup but still cannot get TIVO to connect to the Uverse network.
I get through the create my 2WIRE network I choose WEP security setting. enter my password (wireless network key) I get a screen that asks how do I want TIVO to set an IP address. there are 3 choices: 1) get from DHCP 2) Specify my own 3) Let DVR assign its own. I believe I have tried all three and they all seem to fail because it cannot DHCP address of the router. What is the best choice? I think when I tried to specify my own, it asked for additonal info: subnet mask, and gateway/router address (which is the one I got stuck on) So I am stuck on the DHCP address. Is that the address of my uverse router?
