I'm the guy with the new house whole-house HD satellite pre-wire who learned when the DirecTV installer showed up that he couldn't (or wouldn't) put a dish on my house except in one of two places that would change the view out the window from wooded creek (southeast) or vineyard (southwest) to the butt end of a satellite dish.
So, we now have Comcast. I have recordings of "The War", a few memorable concerts, and Floyd Landis' Herculean (but now tainted) breakaway recovery stage from the 2006 Tour de France on my now unconnected TiVo box (it's a Series 2 DirecTV TiVo). Can I get the recordings off of it somehow? Thanks so much, Jim Robertson --
