Yes there is.So that is what I would press to get it back on track?

I can't answer that about the connection. Maybe if you gave me choices, I could
figure it out, as I tried to learn all this since I
got the TiVo. But it's been awhile.

Yes, I pulled the power cord on the back of the TiVo box at first. But this
morning, I didn't get to it right away and then I
noticed that the tivo rebooted by itself.

Is there not a TV INPUT button right next to the TV POWER button on your tivo
remote ??
What connection does the DVD player make to your system ? I'd assume it's to
the TV on a different input.
And by "rebooting" the tivo, do you mean power it off, and on again ?

Could you please explain what you mean by 'rotating through the TV's inputs'?
What Remote would I use to do that, because I use the
TiVo Remote for everything on the TV.

Yes and yes. And that's what I figured.

It is HDMI sync. It happens to me once in a while. Rebooting the
TiVo should bot be necessary, try rotating through the TV's inputs.
Works for me - switching to some other input then back to the TiVo's
HDMI forces a new HDMI handshake. For some reason it sounds like when
you turn off your TV and then turn it back on again it isn't
re-syncing with the TiVo over HDMI.
