Maybe you could set up some minimalist file browser from which they
could pick a file, copy the (uuencoded) contents to the clipboard and then
paste this into the window on the other side. If "the other side" detects
uuencoded data it might display an icon instead of bothering the users
with a portion of cryptic looking text and handle the text data somehow
internally. Not sure if this is possible, but if it is, it might be more
intuitive to use. Maybe this could even be done with DnD :)
