According to the manual the margin is 3.4 mm left and right and 3.0 mm at the top and 12.7 mm at the bottom for A4 paper. If my calculation is correct this would put the horizontal center of the printable area at 292.8 points. Since try-and-error experiments show that 290.2 is better, I assume that the precision of the manual is probably limited.
