did you use the old tlf-1.1.x version? I fixed it already
in tlf-1.2.0_pre3 in last year.
Here I have an empty line before the macro and one after the macro.

Im using 1.2.0_pre4 which should be the latest version, but I see at
github there is a master.zip.
But its adding the extra LF's in fldigi, but in miniterm its working
correctly.
