Hi Alan, Is this the stock TLF from Ubuntu repo or a locally compiled one? If compiled then was it compiled on Ubuntu 20 or 22? If it was compiled on 20 then recompile it.
Ubuntu 22 has Hamlib v4, whereas Ubuntu 20 uses Hamlib v3 packaged bit confusingly into libhamlib2. So it looks like your TLF binary requires the older Hamlib version that is not available on Ubuntu 22. 73, Zoli On Wed, Nov 09, 2022 at 05:20:01PM -0500, a...@alandove.com wrote: > Hey, folks: > > I haven't done any contesting for a few months, and in the meantime upgraded > my ham computer from Ubuntu 20 to 22. All's been fine: CQRLog, Flrig, and > Fldigi run as before. When I went to start up TLF today, though, I got: > > "tlf: error while loading shared libraries: libhamlib.so.2: cannot open > shared object file: No such file or directory" > > Hamlib and all the other dependencies are already installed.
