Using list, series, set, xor vector would help at least one reader.

Additionally, consistent usage is desirable, e.g., page 31 uses "A list of 
extensions" whereas "A set of 
extensions" is used on page 60. Elsewhere inconsistently usage causes 
confusion, e.g., 
Page 48:

   client_shares:  A list of offered KeyShareEntry values in descending
      order of client preference.

   This vector MAY be empty if the client is requesting a

(Replace "vector" with "list", or vice versa.)

Paul Wouters (AD):  This got incorporated into the bis document, but not 
exactly as suggested.
