That’s pretty magnanimous of you :). The IETF operates by rough​ consensus.

I’ve already posted about “a draft that defines A need not compare itself to B” 
which had several people in agreement. I would like the chairs, in Vienna, to 
hold discussion and a consensus call on this point first (to be confirmed on 
the WG mailing list of course).
