The main question before the working group is: "Should the > working group publish a document specifying stand alone ML-KEM?". I support publication of a document specifying stand-alone ML-KEM, and we have already implemented and shipped the draft as a non-default option. I don't foresee offering this by default, possibly ever -- depending on the practical progress of CRQC developments. --- With that aside, I must say I am really disappointed in: a) the conduct of certain members of the working group in this WGLC and prior, b) the ongoing failure of IETF processes to deal with repeated and flagrant misconduct, and c) the quality of argument and discussion, which I would characterise as ranging from lazy to a full adoption of the poison of US politics. Alongside the quality of certain adopted drafts, and the timeliness of bringing forward drafts to which I would ascribe extremely high priority, it makes me reconsider whether I spend any future effort here. Thanks, Joe NSA minion - apparently?
