How many of you have dealt with folks that are just don't understand
and/or read the messages sent back from TMDA?

I'm currently in a 'discussion' with a gentleman that runs a mailing list.

I sent in mail to his list (which is moderated) with "X-TMDA: bare" so it
had my bare address on it. [Yes, I know this is generally a bad practice,
but there are other circumstances as to why I really can't fix it for
this list].

Due to a goof on my end, he sent me a note telling me that I had posted
a duplicate... he responded, of-course, to my bare address which then
requested a confirm.

He confirmed, and has now kicked me off of the list (amazingly none of
this touched the list) due to my "faulty spam filter that continues to
send him junkmail".

He is trying to get *ME* to understand that the address on the listserv
is [EMAIL PROTECTED], not alan-confirm-accept.[blah]@clegg.com (which I
obviously understand, but can't get him to read an entire message from
me to see that the -confirm- address is something completely different).

[before anyone says otherwise, I've whitelisted the listserv so that
messages to me actually *DO* get to me without any other issues]

He just re-confirmed the first message and is now fussing that he is
getting *MORE JUNK MAIL* from me based on the "you have already confirmed
this message" message.... [which he obviously has not actually READ]

The list is extremely interesting, and has taken me quite a while to get
on, and now, for the list admin to not understand what is happening and to
kick me off...

I'm just ill with humanity.
