FWIW, The reason I didn't add this feature in the past, as that many TMDA users are also qmail users, and use their .qmail to do final delivery instead of having TMDA do it.
|preline tmda-filter ./Maildir/ So if I added a custom header to the message, it would disappear as soon as it progressed the second delivery line, since I only modified the message in memory and didn't write it anywhere. When TMDA handles delivery ala DELIVERY, we don't have this problem.
