I have been using qmail for a few years and just installed Python 2.2.1 and TMDA 0.62 as a tarball. I am also using Maildirs. My .qmail is as follows:
|preline /usr/local/tmda-0.62/bin/tmda-filter ./Maildir/ I get the following qmail message in my log file for every incoming email. "... deferral: env:_python:_No_such_file_or_directory/" I created a config file in my .tmda directory to set the LOGFILE_DEBUG and LOGFILE_INCOMMING but the files are not created. I suspect that the initial tmda-filter script cannot launch the tmda-rfilter program. Just a guess.
