I spoke too soon. I glanced at the wrong section of code and thought it was required. It's not. Something sticks in my head that, at one point, it was required. That may mean you're using an older version of TMDA. Upgrading to the latest is recommended. Once you upgrade, try the no-config setup again. It should work.
