I prefer to run as much as I can via tcpserver and daemontools so that I can use my standard allow/deny rulesets and other connection handling features. I know much of it is built into tmda-ofmipd and as such this is a _minor_ request and I might just have to learn some python to get it done because I don't think it's worth your time to make it happen. I'm pretty happy with the setup now, I was just checking to see if it was doable. Keep up the awesome work!
