It was the previously-mentioned issue about procmail. It wasn't obvious,
though, because TMDA didn't really do anything to flag the fact that it
was looping. I just kept getting the same messages over and over in
tmda-pending. I *did* fix the configuration problem that was causing the
loop, though, once I realized what was causing it.
