FWIW, maildrop does _not_ have this problem as procmail does. If the message does not contain a From_ line, maildrop will simply create one (if needed), alleviating the need for the silly `-f' option. procmail is brain-dead. > It *will* get appended to the mbox, but can't be read by mailx or > pine, and may in fact cause mbox corruption.
