TMDA and mailing lists

I recently needed to subscribe to a Majordomo mailing list and since I use TMDA, I went looking through the TMDA mailing list archives for any information that would help me. I did eventually find a relevant thread but only after some work. In the thread, someone mentions that it would be nice to have a document describing how to set up TMDA to interact with mailing lists of various sorts. I thought it would be nice too so I started one.

Comments are welcome since I'm sure there are people here who know more about TMDA than I do. Keep in mind that it hasn't gone through a lot of revision yet so be kind.
