The only thing I would mention is that I ran into trouble using + as
a recip delimiter.  AOL has problems with it, as do many HTML capable
email clients.  The problem is that + has meaning in HTML.  So it
frequently gets translated as a space, totally screwing up

BTW, the SENDMAIL variable is legacy.  Unless you changed OUTGOINGMAIL,
you don't need it.
