I'd recommend not spending time deleting spam messages from your pending queue, as the goal of TMDA is to save you time wasted by spam. I'd just release non-spam messages as necessary, and let your weekly cron job clean up the junk. It would be nice if tmda-cgi could tap the PENDING_CACHE feature so that you wouldn't have to see the same messages over and over in tmda-cgi.
