I'm trying to set up TMDA as I receive about 150 spam per day. I've downloaded and installed TMDA, but when I send messages to my test email address, TMDA neither replies nor logs any errors.

I am on pair.com and am using qmail. Here is the output from "tmda-keygen -V":
TMDA/0.68 (Python 2.2.2 on freebsd-4.6-STABLE-i386)

My dot-qmail file is: (where USER is my username and [EMAIL PROTECTED] is where I want approved messages to go)
-------------
/usr/home/USER/prelog
|preline /usr/home/USER/tmda-0.68/bin/tmda-filter
/usr/home/USER/postlog
&[EMAIL PROTECTED]
-------------

I've sent some test messages. Each test message gets appended to "/usr/home/USER/prelog" every few minutes: there are many copies of each test message in "/usr/home/USER/prelog". It seems that tmda-filter is asking for qmail to start over again with each message. There are is nothing in "/usr/home/USER/postlog" and no TMDA log files in my home directory or in the ~/.tmda/logs directory. No messages are relayed to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

If I comment out the tmda-filter line in the dot-qmail file, the backlogged messages are relayed and logged in both prelog and postlog.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Jeff
