tmda on a linux box in front of an MS server?

I want to get rid of MS mail server at all, but that will not happen that fast. M$ offers integrated calendar, .... what Linux not has (or I have not found it yet).

Spam is however a motivation to do something. In the first step we would like to put a mail server in front of our system, including tmda for all users, and than somehow forward all mails to the MS mail server till we find a complete replacement for MS.

Does anybody has an idea how to start it?
