How about putting
from * ok
in the incoming filter, but leaving TMDA active.
This would mean that TMDA will deliver all subsequent mail normally
(without requesting confirmation), but would still be active to
process confirmation of pending mail.
Once you've waited long enough that the cron job has expired all
pending mail (in your case, a week), you can safely remove TMDA
altogether.
