I have a mail delivery chain like: ISP's multi-drop mailbox ---fetchmail--> postfix --.forward--> TMDA
At the ISP I add an "Old-Delivered-To:" header with the full address, and remove address extensions from "Delivered-To:". That keeps fetchmail happy, and it delivers the mail to the correct local users. (Not all local users use TMDA) The problem is that postfix understands address extensions, and always defines (a possibly null) $EXTENSION when it calls TMDA. So, I think that when TMDA tests for the existance of EXTENSION, it precludes using RECIPIENT_HEADER. The result is that incoming confirmations are not recognized, and cause more confirmation requests. Is there a way to force usage of RECIPIENT_HEADER, or a better way for me to go? Thanks -rb ===== no microsoft products were used in the production of this email __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
