After looking at my logs, this is exactly what is happening to at least 
one correspondent (logs if you need 'em). So, two things:

    1. Shouldn't whitelisting take precedence over the sender address
    verification? I think it should.

    2. TMDA should regenerate confirmation addresses, instead of tacking
    confirms onto existing addresses the way it does now. For example:

        [EMAIL PROTECTED]

    is just ridiculously long. If an extension address is already a tmda
    address, why can't it just be replaced with the new extension
    address, e.g. [EMAIL PROTECTED]
