Here's how I'm starting tmda-ofmipd. (this is a qmail/vpopmail setup)
su vpopmail -c '/home/vpopmail/tmda/bin/tmda-ofmipd -f -d -A
"/home/vpopmail/bin/vchkpwd /bin/true" -S
/home/vpopmail/tmda/contrib/vpopmail-vdir.sh'
As soon as I send an email here is what I get.
tmda-ofmipd started at Fri Jun 6 11:47:19 CDT 2003
Listening on lds240.lds.dyndns.org:8025

Those Data: '' lines go on forever until I kill the tmda-ofmipd daemon.
I'm on tmda-0.79. I was running on python 2.2.1c1 (or similar) and I
upgraded to 2.2.2 and it made no difference.
I also executed /home/vpopmail/tmda/contrib/vpopmail-vdir.sh malcolms
lds.dyndns.org
and it correctly printed the path
/home/vpopmail/domains/lds.dyndns.org/malcolms
and inside of that above directory there is a .tmda with my tmda setup
etc.
