Yes, that would be an excellent addition.  Something that would be fairly simple would be when they 
click the link to sign up, it asks for their full name.  Also, you could ask for their email 
address, and then parse that for the correct domain.  If I were better in Python, I'd submit a 
patch..  ah, what a little time could do!
