Yes, that would be an excellent addition. Something that would be fairly simple would be when they click the link to sign up, it asks for their full name. Also, you could ask for their email address, and then parse that for the correct domain. If I were better in Python, I'd submit a patch.. ah, what a little time could do!

Hi!

I wonder if it is possible to have tmda-cgi automatically adding the user's
real name to the config (in a vpopmail setup) ? The output from vuserinfo
looks like:

# ~vpopmail/bin/vuserinfo [EMAIL PROTECTED]
name: user
passwd: encrypted-pwd
clear passwd: plaintext-pwd
uid: 0
gid: 0
gecos: First Last
        all services available
dir: /home/vpopmail/domains/domain.dk/user
quota: NOQUOTA
usage: NOQUOTA
last auth: Tue Jun 10 23:20:18 2003
last auth ip: 192.168.225.14

If the "First Last" is present, it would be nice if it could be added to the
skeleton config, like:

FULLNAME = "%(RealName)s"

Just like the stuff witrh USERNAME and HOSTNAME ...

Greg - I suppose you have an oppinion about this - does it sound totally
stupid ?

Regards,

/Brian
