TMDA doesn't automatically add a confirmed correspondant to your whitelist. You have to tell it to do so. Set the CONFIRM_APPEND variable in your config to the name of a file to which TMDA should append confirmed senders' email addresses. This can be your whitelist file or another file. If you use a different file, be sure to add a rule for it in your incoming filter.
