I read the tmda virtual domains howto, but I'm obviously not understanding the whole thing.
I set up a .qmail in my /home/virtual directory that looks like this:
| preline spamc -f | preline /usr/local/src/tmda-0.80/bin/tmda-filter | /usr/bin/filepipe /usr/bin/vdeliver
When I put the .tmda directory under /home/virtual (with the debug log in .tmda/logs/debug and the config file and crypt_key in .tmda/config and .tmda/crypt_key) and send an email from [EMAIL PROTECTED] to [EMAIL PROTECTED] the chris_berry account recieves a blank email, and compjma recieves a confirmation message. When compjma replies to the confirm message he recieves an email saying that the message has been accepted and then gets a bounce saying invalid virtual user even though I set up a symlink like this:
ln -s /home/virtual/.qmail /home/virtual/.qmail-default
which I thought was supposed to catch [EMAIL PROTECTED] However even if that worked, I need seperate tmda configurations for each user.
If I put the .tmda directory and associated files in /home/virtual/users/chris_berry then I get a TMDA_DELIVERY_FAILURE saying that it can't find /home/virtual/.tmda/crypt_key. It looks like my script isn't passing the right info for it to be able to figure out the user's home directory, I looked at vmailmgr-vdir.sh, but it didn't look quite right for what I'm trying to do. I'm a bit confused over how I should proceed, can I buy a vowel?
