Not sure if this is going to get thru... I subscribed to the list using an address generated with tmda-address --sender tmda.... for this list.... which emailed me back... I am using netscape under windoze for my mail client. I confirmed it without changing my from address... and that seemed to work, question is, can I post to the list without changing my from address? Which would obviously be a huge pain if I did as I'll never remember to change my from address for each list I post to. Hence this is kind of a test.
And wondering, about tmda-ofmipd which it seems I should run for tagging messages... but, I can't see any mention of it supporting SSL/TLS. I don't want myself, or anyone else connecting to our mail server and sending user/pass in plain text, which is why I make all users enable SSL/TLS on their mail clients. Does it support SSL/TLS?
I've read the docs till my head is spinning pretty much and I've got tmda working with whitelists, blacklists confirms and all which is great, but, I tend to subscribe to between 10 - 20 mailing lists, and I subscribe and unsubscribe quite a lot, so I have to find some fairly easy solution to this or else use a webmail account or something just for mailing lists and purchases type things which I would sooner not do.
Thanks
Bill
