Working with MS Exchange

I like the look of TDMA but my company is using MS Exchange as our mail server (mainly for the shared calanders) and we have no plans to change this until something close to it comes along.   This is more a mail server question, Is it possible to set TMDA up on a SMTP gateway type machine and have one of sendmail, qmail, exim or courier just forward the mail after TMDA does it's processing to the exchange server.   I think that Exchange server can be set to forward all mail via SMTP to the tmda-ofmipd server on port 8025 with a basic authentication.   Thanks   Maurice Walsh
