To get started you need to configure your mail client (pine, mutt, Gnus, etc.) to use 'tmda-sendmail' instead of 'sendmail'. There are examples of how to do this for some popular mail clients at http://tmda.net/config-client.html tmda-sendmail sends the message via SMTP, so you either need to have an SMTP server running on localhost or you need to change SMTPHOST to point to the SMTP server you are allowed to relay through. http://tmda.net/config-vars.html#SMTP_HOST Then you set up your outgoing filter to tag (or not tag) the messages as you desire. By default, if you have no outgoing filter or if nothing in your filter matches your message, the mail will be sent with a 'dated' From: address (and envelope sender). http://tmda.net/config-filter.html Tim _____________________________________________ tmda-users mailing list ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) http://tmda.net/lists/listinfo/tmda-users
