Hello List, I am not on this list, so please email me directly. Thanks. After running the ./configure followed by make then make install, logging into the /tmda-cgi I see that it showed my email address as [EMAIL PROTECTED] instead of the real one. When sending mail from my web mail (what i am using now..squirrelmail) to a list to get a reply, maillog shows me:
Sep 25 20:09:30 mx1 qmail: 1064534970.695146 delivery 77742: deferral: preline:_fatal:_unable_to_run_/usr/local/lib/python2.2/site-packages/bin/tmda-filter:_file_does_not_exist/preline:_fatal:_unable_to_copy_input:_broken_pipe/ When I had installed tmda some time ago from the ports (FreeBSD) it puts all files into /usr/local/bin. However, when running ./configure and trying to use /usr/local/bin I get the error that TMDA is not there. But in the default that ./configure gives, /usr/local/lib/python2.2/site-packages/ there is only a TMDA dir and not a bin dir. I presume it wants the bin dir. I can really use some help getting this (tmda-cgi) to run properly. There are no system accounts for email, just vpopmail accounts. One thing I do find strange is, when one does install (as a user from the tmda.cgi page) it does not put a .qmail-username but rather puts the .qmail-username in ~vpopmail/domains/domainname/username/.qmail-username. That will not work in large setups. From my experience in 2000+ user domains, all .qmail-username must be in the root dir of the domain. Thanks very much for any help with this.
