I like your idea here. qconfirm has something similar[1], and I thought about writing an e-mail based pending interface for TMDA but never got around to it. I don't ever look at my pending queue personally, but if I did, I'd probably prefer an e-mail interface. My first comment is that it would be nice if tmda-ezplm was not so qmail-specific. Just looking through the README I can see it won't work on my Postfix server out of the box. I realize you only run qmail, but it's likely with some minimal changes, tmda-ezplm will be able to run on any machine that TMDA runs on. I can help with this if you'd like.
