I've got a bunch of users in a bunch of domains, some of which use TMDA, and some of who enjoy reading spam. I offer webmail services to all of these folks. I was curious if anyone has tried to solve the problem of providing tmda-ofmipd outgoing service to tmda users, but regular smtp service to others in the webmail context. Though probably not relevent, the webmail packages I provide are IMP, SquirrelMail, and IlohaMail (yes, my users are picky, but who's aren't?).
I'm not exactly sure how to do this, except possibly by requesting a feature be added to tmda-ofmipd (some sort of pass-through mode), writing some sort of multiplexor that checks if tmda is enabled, then connects and forwards to the proper port, or setting up tmda for everyone but in "silent" mode (i.e. ACTION_INCOMING="ok").
If the pass-through mode is something that people might like, and Jason/Tim are too busy, I'm keen to stab at it, since it'll finally give me a reason to do more than read a book about python. :)
