`apt-get -t unstable install tmda' might work.

I believe Adam made some changes to the "unstable" tmda Debian package
recently that should allow it to be installed on "stable" and
"testing" systems.

The Python dependencies for tmda between stable -> testing -> unstable
are now the same (>= 2.1).
