I was wondering how these numbers compare to others out there. I have 287 whitelisted addresses, and 9 blacklisted addresses. I suspect that you're adding addresses to your blacklist via some batch process. There isn't a whole lot of point in blacklisting random spammers, since they've most likely faked the sender address anyway, and will use a different fake address on the next run. So at best, you're just filling up your blacklist with addresses that will never be used again. At worst, you're allowing spammers to prevent legitimate mail from getting to you by sending you spam that they've forged to contain the email addresses of legitimate senders: when you mass add the spam to the blacklist, those legitimate senders will end up on your blacklist. I use my blacklist to weed out messages from a domain that seems to be generating their spam (and confirming it) by hand, and messages to a couple of email addresses that get nothing but spam, but that's about it.
