I don't use qmail, but I do almost exactly the same thing in Postfix.
I reject mail that claims to be from a freemail source (e.g,
yahoo.com, hotmail.com) but which was relayed from a non-freemail
host.  Legitimate uses of freemail should not be affected, but this
stops almost all spam sent from a freemail address.

Indeed, it did cut down tremendously on my influx of spam.  20% of the
total volume of spam I was receiving was from yahoo.* alone, and this
is now completely eliminated.

For Postfix users, the method I use is described in
http://jimsun.linxnet.com/misc/postfix-anti-UCE.txt (the ``Stopping
Forged Freemail'' section).  And of course, this can be done natively
in Postfix (no messy 3rd party patches to apply).
