Depending on your MTA, you can have it check to see if the sender's host
match the address or verify that the host even exists. Chances are they
didn't use amazons mail servers so they won't have a amazon mail server in
the header.

I just saw in the incoming log that amazon.de behaves fine with respect to
the tmda verification request: they sent a order delivery notice from a
special address ([EMAIL PROTECTED]). TMDA challenged their
verification, and their server sent it 30 seconds later (so I assume there
was no human interaction).
Will spammers be able to exploit this behaviour by using adresses from
known well-behaved services as From:adresses? How could Amazon protect
themselves against it?
