I notice that gmane uses tmda. Anyone happen to know what email address they use so their confirmation request doesn't wake ours up?

You know, I wish there was an easy way to figure out where an email is going to be coming from for most automated sources.
Would it be that hard to put on every web form "You should expect an email to come from <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> after you press Submit..."
It would be great to have this information BEFORE I put in my email address so I can give them a SENDER-tagged address, or at least before they send a message so I don't have to surf my pending queue.
In cases like gmane it may be tricky to find out before the first message you send to them, but in the case of mailing lists (I usually sign up using some web interface or after reading some instruction online) or web forms (phpBB for example!) this would be an awesome feature for anyone using C/R spamblockers.
For example, is it possible to change, on the http://tmda.net/lists/listinfo/tmda-users page, in the "Subscribing to tmda-users" section, the following:
Subscribe to tmda-users by filling out the following form. You will be sent email from <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you.
Why don't more people do this? I think the default mailman / majordomo / whatever subscription pages should include this out of courtesy for the user.
