this seemed like a good/logical suggestion, but doesn't prove to be the 
solution, unfortunately.

| preline /opt/tmda/bin/tmda-filter /home/mordeth/Mailbox
[EMAIL PROTECTED] mordeth]$ cat .qmail-default 
| preline /opt/tmda/bin/tmda-filter /home/mordeth/Mailbox

(and yes, i did have the 'ln -s .qmail .qmail-default' that tmda.net says to 
make when setting up for qmail.)

even if this weren't doubled, though, it'd still notify prior to TMDA screening, 
and not afterwards.
